Zharnel Hughes wins semifinal in Beijing

Moves on to finals in IAAF World Championships Beijing 2015

Zharnel Hughes placed himself in the crosshairs of the speedometers of many unsuspecting viewers worldwide. He has accelerated steadily from Anguilla to Jamaica to London and now to Beijing. Running shoulder to shoulder with Usain Bolt is an any day feat as was evident in the London Diamond League recently.

In his semifinal run at the IAAF World Championships in Beijing 2015, Zharnel has won his second day with 20.14 seconds in the 200m and moves on to the finals.

He has the support of an entire island (13,000+) as his name becomes a household name through out the world.

We continue to monitor his achievements with a second eye on Mauriel Carty.
