Why Visit Anguilla?

Go Beach Shoal Bay Anguilla

To see what experiences await you

The answer to the question “Why should I visit Anguilla?” is as simple as it is complex. It lies in your individual taste… your drive for adventure… your propensity to learn something new. To learn what we do in Anguilla.

It would be remiss of us to not mention the World Class beaches but, why stop there when the treasure throve of history and culture is longing to be found.

Here’s a list of 12 reasons to visit Anguilla. Feel free to add to the list!

12 Reasons to Vist Anguilla

Activities & Attractions

Frigate Bird Anguilla

Have you ever had a massage on a World Class beach? How about diving sunken wrecks dating back as far as the 18th century? Oh you have?

Well, in that case, you would have also witnessed over 100,000 pairs of birds all in one space and seen a thousand year old fossil hidden away in a cave.

If it all checks out, then, you’ve made a great effort at discovering Anguilla, but, there’s still more to experience.

Beaches & Activities

Anguilla’s beaches are pristine… all 33 of them! Each offers a unique experience in their layout, activities and amenities available.

Some beaches have restaurants and hotels while others are secluded. You can kayak, play volleyball, jog or just build sand castles on the beach!

Things to try at:

  • Shoal Bay East – take the glass bottom boat or go snorkelling
  • Meads Bay – sit on the beach and watch the sun set
  • Rendezvous Bay – walk/run along one of our longest beaches
  • Little Bay – kayak from Crocus Bay and jump off “The Rock”

There’s something happening in Anguilla every day of every month throughout the year. You may be lucky to stumble upon some big event while in Anguilla or, intentionally plan your trip around a particular event.

Imagine playing mas with a troupe during the Anguilla Summer Festival or, hopping on a boat to follow or even participate in a race for the Round-the-Island Anguilla Day Boat Race or, to just kick back and relax while listening to live music.

Whatever your taste in events and entertainment, you’re bound to be able to enjoy it even more if you know what’s happening before hand!
