The full line up and schedule is now out for the 2019 Anguilla Summer Festival.
Featuring calypsonians from across the Caribbean as well as the 2018 Anguilla Calypso Monarch, the Annual Leeward Islands Calypso Competition is especially intriguing as each calypsonian shows down to win the coveted crown.
The Miss Anguilla Queen Pageant is symbolic of our revolutionary past and shows the strenth and determination our women possess now, and then, when many of the led the way for the success of the 1967 Revolution.
The Junior and Senior Calypso Monarch Competition is a mix of social commentary accompanied by wind instruments. You’re never too old or too young to lend your opinion on societal issues in a musical and lyrical fashion.
These 4 teenage girls from the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School will compete in a number of pageant segments to become the Miss Scotiabank Talented Teen!
