A fantastic tour that we would take again in a heartbeat. Our guide, Boston was exceptionally knowledgeable about the different flora of the forest; we loved the hands-on demonstrations including the “soap” leaves. He took great care to ensure we walked carefully along the path and in Cavanaugh Cave which was magnificent in itself. The tiny bats serenaded us and were so enjoyable to watch; guide provided flashlights were a nice touch. The tour ended at a pristine beach where beverages and desserts were served. Clemvio shared much knowledge about the island during our round trip transportation to Katouche Preserve. The entire experience was enriching and professional. It was one of the main highlights of our trip to Anguilla.

The hike to Cavanaugh cave was amazing. We started with a brief overview of the history of the area and the cave at the trailhead then set off on a fascinating tour guided by Boston, an expert on local plants with a focus on their medicinal values. Boston and Sanji were informative and fun. We saw the cave, lots of bats, lizards, and birds. The trip left our family with a new perspective of the island’s plants and history. And it concluded on the most beautiful beach with refreshments which was perfect. Clemvio met us on the beach after for a lesson in kite making. Truly a perfect outing for the whole family.
