Vere Musiq launches debut single and music video “Wherever You Are”
The Valley, Anguilla (October, 16th 2020)- Vere Musiq, the St. Kitts born, Anguilla based crooner has announced the launch of his debut single and music video. “Wherever You Are” is a melodic and reflective record that celebrates love in its purest form. This offering from Vere Musiq is his first official single and in his words:
Vere had a specific vision for this single and he completely orchestrated its sound from inception to completion. The record was produced by Wade Johnson famous for his extensive work with Grammy Award winning artists Damian ‘Jr. Gong’ Marley and Beenie Man. The single also boasts a cadre of musicians of the highest caliber including Rhon Mattison on bass (Christopher Martin, Jermaine Edwards), Lamont ‘Monty’ Savory on guitar (Protegee) and Sherita Lewis on background vocals. Vere took advantage of Anguilla’s state-of-the-art facility and recorded the song at The Anguilla Music Academy where Omar Tomlinson masterfully guided the vocal tracking process. In order to complete the project, Vere will also release the music video for the single.
The visuals complement the song perfectly. Vere retraces his mistakes with the love of his life and tries to reconcile and find common ground with his lady “where ever she is.” The video stars Dayna Connor as his love interest. The video which was shot entirely on location in Anguilla (British West Indies) was produced by production company Pink Mako and directed and shot by Rickiell Hodge. The single coupled with the music video promise to usher Vere Musiq into new markets and introduce him and his unique sound to new fans.
They also serve as a fantastic prelude to his dynamic live performances. Until his fans are able to experience him live, the single is available on all streaming platforms and the video can be seen on Vere Musiq’s YouTube channel.
